And a surprise for me too!

I got one of Jacquie's treats, a cheery little snowman, who definitely brightened my day.  Over Christmas he was hung near the sink to bring a smile to my face each day.  Thank you, Jacquie!

It's the first day of the new year and, as you do, I'm issuing a challenge, mostly to me, but feel free to join in!  I've felt for a long time that I wasn't upholding the spirit of the blog that Evalina kindly set up for us......apart from one small gift that I sent when I joined the group, I've done nothing, so......I'm challenging myself to a monthly "something".......not always stitched (but might be), a drawing (definitely possible) or maybe the odd small parcel of DMC threads to someone who can't buy them as inexpensively as we can here in the US.  So, keep an eye out, a small parcel will be flying somewhere from Michigan each month!

Wishing you all a healthy, happy and safe 2016, with much peace and love in our homes, even though a rare commodity in the wider world at the moment.

  2. I think many of us dropped out of the purpose of this group...for many reasons. Sad but true. I know a few times, and even this year, I have sent and never even received a thank you or that the package arrived ( I always use tracking). Let us all make a better effort to continue this group which started out as a friendship group.

  6. I too received a gift from Jacquie and only posted on my blog not here. I'm in for getting the group up and running again. I'm never sure if the addresses are the right ones - or the members on the list are still around.

  7. I agree that we should renew RAK. We all like to receive a little something out of the blue.

  11. Great idea to send out a monthly RAK, I have sent out several since I joined so this year I want to send out more. Since I myself love to recieve a little gift and always feel not just thankful but as Evalina mentioned thought of. We never know what is going on in the lives of other members so perhaps like me when the little package arrives it may make the day just a little brighter.

  12. I'm also on board for the monthly goal! I had such great intentions when I joined the group but life has a way of throwing obstacles in the way. Hoping 2016 is a way better year than 2015!
